I made this from some photos I took while on a sailing trip on the bay, sometime in the 1990's. This is a "multimedia" art piece, cut paper and acrylic, on paper; I also made a traditional oil-on-linen.
I paint both realist traditional-modern and contemporary multimedia paintings and digital abstracts. My digital abstracts are of design and colors. My realist pieces express "motif". To me, the art piece motif (its basic intention and meaning) in traditional-modern art is important in giving artistic focus and presence to the work. My motifs are influenced by impressionist ideas, fundamentally based on views of real life and real people. For custom-printed copies, please contact me.

I paint original art with a wide range of subjects, in my own unique style; oil, acrylic, multimedia, digital, charcoal, pastel... All my subject matter is entirely my own, from my own concepts, visits, and travels; usually realistic except of course my own abstracts. Originals, signed prints, and AP are available. sites, and blogs... 'https://optimisticgrlartwp.wordpress.com/' For more, search... 'g. linsenmayer art', or contact me, grl@fineartspaintings.org.
